Welcome to The Clearinghouse Indiana, a blog and podcast dedicated to raising awareness about missing and murdered women and girls in Indiana. Join us in our mission to bring these stories to light and support the search for answers.
Our focus
There are currently over 200 people categorized as missing persons in Indiana, according to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs). Statistics specific to Indiana remain unclear; however, of the total missing persons in the United States, 38 percent are women. The average age is 18.3 years old.
The Clearinghouse Indiana is committed to highlighting both cold and open cases of missing women and girls in Indiana. Our goal is to increase public awareness and support ongoing search efforts.
We attempt to fill the gaps in law enforcement and the media, specific to the unsolved missing and murdered cases of women and girls in Indiana, by increasing case awareness through podcast and victim profiles. We raise funds needed to prompt investigative work, as well as provide checks for the justice system across the state.
